Cha Jun-hwan Makes History with Silver Medal at Figure Skating World Championships

Saitama: Cha Jun-hwan achieved a significant milestone in South Korean sports history by winning a silver medal in the men's singles at the International Skating Union World Figure Skating Championships held at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Cha's performance earned him a personal-best score of 296.03 points, securing his position in second place. This achievement marks the first time a South Korean man has won a medal at this prestigious annual competition. Shoma Uno of Japan claimed the gold with 301.14 points, narrowly surpassing Cha's impressive performance.
