Seoul: K-pop boy group KickFlip returned Monday with its fourth EP, “My First Kick,” led by the high-energy lead track, “Eye-Poppin’,” a hyper-punk-based dance number about a daring confession to one’s first love.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the group, who previously sang cheerfully about young romance in last year’s “My First Flip,” said the new record continues the story of youthful emotions and awkward beginnings. The seven-track album also includes the prereleased single “Twenty” and tracks such as “Stup!d,” “Scroll,” “Roar” and “My Direction.”
The album’s theme revolves around the vibrancy and challenges of young love, echoing the sentiments of navigating through new relationships and self-discovery. KickFlip’s latest release aims to capture the essence of these youthful experiences through its energetic and thematic tracks.
