Babymonster to Release ‘Hot Sauce,’ an ’80s-Inspired Hip-Hop Single

Seoul: Rising girl group Babymonster from YG Entertainment is set to make waves with their upcoming single "Hot Sauce," which will be released on Tuesday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, "Hot Sauce" is a vibrant summer dance track that revives 1980s old-school hip-hop through Babymonster's unique style. The song's lyrics draw a parallel between a bold, confident attitude and spicy food, as explained by YG Entertainment.

The track's dynamic essence is powered by a rhythmic beat and rap, complemented by synth bass and lively brass. YG Entertainment noted that the song's appeal is further heightened by refreshing vocals and a catchy chorus.

Following the release of "Hot Sauce," Babymonster is gearing up for a busy schedule with another single set for release in September and an EP in October. The group will also take the stage at Japan's Summer Sonic festival in August and embark on their second U.S. tour.
