Authorities confirm new cases of the zika virus in Singapore
Pest exterminators fumigate a common area underneath an apartment block in the Bedok North district of Singapore, 01 September 2016. At least 115 cases of patients affected with the Zika virus have been discovered in Singapore with most of the cases involving local transmission of the mosquito borne disease. Countries such as South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, the United Kingdom and the USA have issued travel advisories warning their citizens of the Zika outbreak in Singapore.
