Asian Games Medal Standings Highlight China’s Dominance

Aichi-Nagoya:The latest medal standings for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games reveal China's prominent position at the top of the leaderboard as of Wednesday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, China leads with a substantial tally of 150 gold medals, 67 silver, and 59 bronze, totaling 276 medals. Japan follows in second place with 50 gold, 76 silver, and 73 bronze, making a total of 199 medals.

South Korea holds the third position with 24 gold, 30 silver, and 49 bronze, accumulating 103 medals in total. Uzbekistan is fourth with 16 gold, 19 silver, and 19 bronze medals, totaling 54.

Thailand is in the fifth position with 12 gold, 10 silver, and 12 bronze medals, amounting to 34 overall. Iran follows closely in sixth place with 11 gold, 16 silver, and 12 bronze, with a total of 39 medals.

Bahrain ranks seventh with 11 gold, 5 silver, and 5 bronze medals, totaling 21. India stands eighth with 10 gold, 21 silver, and 29 bronze medals, adding up to 60.

Kazakhstan is in ninth place with 9 gold, 16 silver, and 31 bronze medals, totaling 56. North Korea rounds out the top ten with 7 gold, 6 silver, and 7 bronze medals, achieving a total of 20 medals.
