Seoul: Amorepacific Holdings, the holding firm of Amorepacific Corp., South Korea's leading cosmetics producer, announced a significant increase in its second-quarter net profit, reaching 104.5 billion won (US$72.5 million). This marks a 105.7 percent rise from the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that it achieved an operating profit of 122.8 billion won for the quarter, up from 80.1 billion won in the previous year. The firm also reported a 14.6 percent increase in sales, totaling 1.25 trillion won.
