Seoul: Lee Chan-hyuk, a member of the renowned K-pop duo AKMU, is reportedly in a relationship with actress Ha Ji-soo, according to industry sources on Thursday. The pair is said to have grown close while collaborating on the music video for the lead track of Lee's project album "Umbrella" in 2023, which eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship.
According to Yonhap News Agency, YG Entertainment, which represents Lee, stated it is unable to confirm any details regarding the artist's private life. Lee first rose to fame alongside his younger sister Lee Su-hyun by winning the 2012-2013 SBS audition program "K-pop Star" Season 2, leading to their official debut as AKMU in 2014. Since then, the duo has released several popular tracks, including "200%," "How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You're the One I Love," "Last Goodbye," and "Love Lee," with Lee gaining recognition for his songwriting and composition.
In addition to his work with AKMU, Lee Chan-hyuk launched his solo career in 2022 with the album "Error," which received positive reviews. Ha Ji-soo, meanwhile, has made her mark in the entertainment industry by appearing in music videos such as Andnew's "Wendy" and Rothy's "Diamond."
