Jeju: Ten people were rescued Saturday after two fishing boats carrying 15 crew members ran aground in waters off the southern resort island of Jeju, according to the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard reported receiving alerts about a 32-ton fishing boat with seven individuals and a 29-ton vessel carrying eight crew members that were stranded on a rock near Jeju Island at approximately 9:25 a.m.

According to Yonhap News Agency, by 12:06 p.m., rescue operations had successfully saved 10 crew members, while efforts to locate and rescue the remaining individuals were still ongoing.
